How to read these trends
Public Limitless tournaments, not ranked ladder results. Each point is a rolling window of up to 30 days and 30 eligible events. Historical rates are approximate because stored deck rates were rounded. History follows the builds currently accepted for this page, including archived builds; only records present in each snapshot count. Win rate is wins divided by wins, losses and ties, including mirror matches. Entries and game records are not unique players or deduplicated matches; overlapping windows must not be added together.

Which Trainer Cards Do Pikachu Decks Use?Choose the C1 print, then plan the next two Lightning
Keep the three Pikachu ex prints separate
The current Pikachu ex list below covers the Mega Manectric ex route. The Pawmot discussion uses Fael24's dated submission as a separate strategy example, outside the current selection. This Pikachu ex deck centers on C1-043: a 120-HP Lightning Basic with Pika Punch for 30 at one Lightning, or Thundertail for 130 at two Lightning and one Colorless. Thundertail discards two Lightning Energy. It retreats for one, has Fighting Weakness +20 and gives two points when knocked out.
A1-096 instead uses Circle Circuit, dealing 30 per Benched Lightning Pokémon for two Lightning. A2b-022 deals 150 for three Lightning and discards all its Energy. Those versions do not share C1's Energy cycle; match the print before copying a Pikachu list.
Build the Pawmi line before spending Rare Candy
In Fael24's Pikachu list, two Rare Candy can evolve Pawmi straight into a Pawmot from hand, except on your first turn or a Basic played that turn. Keeping one Pawmo preserves the ordinary evolution route; Candy is not guaranteed to be ready.
Refill the Active, not the Bench
Pawmot attaches one Lightning from the Energy Zone to your Active Lightning Pokémon once during your turn, never to the Bench. In this Pikachu build, Thundertail starting with three Lightning discards two and leaves one. One ability use raises that to two; the next Thundertail needs three Energy in total, at least two Lightning.
Make Light Ball earn its slot
Light Ball adds 30 damage to attacks by its Pikachu ex holder against the opposing Active. With that effect alone, C1 deals 60 or 160. It does not boost Pawmot or Mega Manectric ex. Each Pokémon can hold only one Tool.
Decide what to draw before resetting your hand
In MangoSoup's Pikachu list, Professor's Research draws two; Copycat shuffles the hand back and draws to the opponent's hand size. Poké Ball finds a random Basic. Research, Copycat and Sabrina share the one-Supporter limit. Sabrina changes the opposing Active, but the opponent chooses the replacement. Choose draw or switching before spending that action.
Compare evolution support with a second attacker
The other submitted Pikachu list uses Electrike to evolve directly into Mega Manectric ex: a 180-HP Lightning Stage 1 with zero retreat. For two Lightning, it deals 80 plus 30 per point you have taken. Its knockout gives three points.
MangoSoup's Pikachu list has two Electric Generator and no Pawmot. On heads, an Item attaches one Lightning from the Energy Zone to a Benched Lightning Pokémon. It cannot charge the Active; the Mega does not supply Pawmot's attachment ability.
Read the individual submissions beside the aggregate
Fael24 submitted the Pawmot Pikachu list to PMPT #49, starting 31 October 2026 at 16:00 UTC, and finished 8-3-0. The source below opens the original twenty.
MangoSoup's Pikachu list comes from Wednesday Fusion, starting 4 November 2026 at 18:45 UTC, with a personal 6-2-1 record. The current Pikachu representative is an aggregate, separate from that original submission and result.
Keep each utility card's target and cost
MangoSoup's Pikachu list has one Cyrus and one Red. Cyrus calls a damaged opposing Benched Pokémon; Red adds 20 against the opposing Active ex this turn. Both are Supporters, so you cannot play them together in the same turn.
The same Pikachu list has only one Electrike. Removing it loses the submitted route to evolve the Mega. This is a dependency in a real list, not evidence for a stronger substitute. Check the current Pikachu list against your collection before copying it.
